It seems like a mix between old stuff and now.
You have a lot of fine details, worked out very well and with love. The best example is the dress of the girl in front. All the little white spots or her overknees show the love for the detail. The masked people too; we can still see the black adornments on the white masks, even for those who are standing in the back.
However, if we look now again on the girl in for foreground, we can discover your old style again (which some visitors here maybe can't know, because they don't know your old pics). The skin has a healthy color and is not pale-grey tone, the chin is not so pointy as you usually draw it. Yes, even the character itself looks just more "human" then the people you draw do on some other pictures.
I personally think it's definite a good step if you keep drawing this way. The proportions are allright, either way.
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
